A Tiny Before and After

As I was strolling through TJMaxx a couple weeks ago I saw a little bag of bright green moss. I love anything mossy so I had to pick it up. And let's face it, sometimes a little green can go along way....

Now back to my bag of green...

I continued to the back of the store to see what I could find to put my moss in.
This little guy appeared....

I loved the small size, texture and color of the cement pot. It's price of $7.99 also contributed to making it's way into my cart. Now I'm not a fan of the plastic green grass stuff in it but when I got home I pulled it right out and created this...

And there you have it. My five minute $11 moss pot project.
Simple and cute.

March 2013

I think blogging break would be an understatement. Where do I begin?

For awhile now I've been wanting to do a catch up post with updated house pictures. I can't believe I still haven't shown you guys the kitchen yet. I have much more to share too!

But until then, I wanted to slice my blog silence and share some pictures from my phone I've taken over the last 6-8 months or so. Yes, this is going to be random, but I wanted to let you guys know I'm still here. :)

In no particular order...

We're still at it with house projects....

Captain Morgan stance while taping off the 2 story windows before painting... I really wonder what our neighbors think about us.

Moved some family to Nashville
(and brought along the tiger lillies we've been transferring since I was little... they have survived 3 states and many moves... so far they are liking TN soil just fine!)

Took some fun trips...

 Snuck in some recreation...

Made a couple Craigslist purchases...
(I have a plan for these babies)

And found some other furniture additions...

Started seeing my sister every day... :) more on that later

And of course more house projects...

That's all for now folks.
Don't know when I'll be back, but I'll be back.

Anyone still out there?
